Godfrey Okoye University to graduate six hundred and fourteen students on its 8th and 9th Convocation

With preparation on top gear for the 8th and 9th convocation ceremony
of Godfrey Okoye University on Saturday, The Vice Chancellor, Professor Christian
Anieke, has praised the institution’s ability to carry out its normal activities
despite the Covid-19 pandemic which disrupted the globe as well as halted
educational activities last year.
 
The Vice Chancellor made this known on Tuesday during a press briefing
at the school permanent site, Ugwuomu to share update on the
institution’s plans towards the university convocation ceremony.
Reverend Father Anieke explained that the feat was achieved through its
effective and sustainable Online system, noting that during the covid-
19 period which had shot most schools down, Godfrey Okoye University
was able to complete its 2020 academic calendar year.
Further outlining the scorecard of the university, he rated the institution as
one of the fastest growing in Africa, adding that within the last two years,
the institution was able to complete the project of its law auditorium built
in four months as well as other positive progress achieved at the university
business park.

Professor Anieke also identified that, a total of six hundred and
fourteen students will be graduated. Our correspondent Chibuike peter who was at the briefing reports that
Wednesday is billed for the inaugural lecture, while on Thursday has been
scheduled for the grand breaking of the business park situated at
the Ugwuomu campus among other activities.
