ENUGU STATE FOUNDING FATHERS REMEMBERED AX STATE MARKS THIRTY FIRST ANNIVERSARY

The founding fathers of Enugu state have been praised for their transparency, credibility, doggedness, sacrifice and foresightedness in the creation of the state. The All Progressive Congress, APC, Senatorial candidate for Enugu East District, Ada Ogbu, gave this commendation in a statement to celebrate Enugu at thirty-one. Ogbu listed the founding fathers to include Godwin Odenigwe, Igwe Nathan Ogbu, Christian Onoh, Igwe Edward Nnaji, Enechi Onyia, Igwe Charles Abangwu, Basil Okwu and Igwe John Nwodo. She emphasized that the qualities exhibited by the heroes led to the creation of the state and urged Enugu people to bring back the qualities to play.

According to her, these qualities contain deep desires to bring positive change to the people and to be independent. Ogbu stressed that she into the national assembly race to bring about needed change to Enugu East senatorial zone, which is lacking in the last twenty-three years. She asked the people not to miss the opportunity to address bad governance, decay infrastructure and worsening insecurity in the state and the nation by voting right persons in the 2023 general elections.
