Nigerian music star Davido has continued to call out his cousin Dele Adeleke over his plans to run against his uncle in the upcoming governorship election. Dele recently bought the nomination form from the People’s Democratic Party to contest in the governorship election in Osun State and also made his intentions known to the public.
In a series of tweets made by the the obviously pissed singer on Wednesday 19th 2021 on twitter, downplayed his cousin Dele and warned the people of Osun to “beware of fakes”.
He wrote, “Wonderful! I finished university with a 2:1. But it’s now cousin Dele who struggled to even get a 2:2 that is now forming ‘intellectual’.
“Intellectual that has not succeeded in building one single thing in his life on his own. This life! Osun, beware of fakes!
Davido also accused his cousin of sponsoring an article about the death of his late mother, Veronica on his governorship ambition. He further posted “Because of your ambition, you have your people write about me (which I don’t care about) but to include the death of my mother in an article; the same woman that raised you. Ok Dele, God will reward! “Worst of all this (Dele) really doing all this from the house my father gave you! Audacity! Disrespect me! (I don’t care) but my father, my mother never! Dele, I will stress you! We go meet for field,” he stated.
But reacting to the singers claim, Bamidele denied writing anything about the demise of Davido’s mother.
Dele’s political ambition has been seen as a clash of interest by the Adelekes, as the Furious Singer vows to frustrate his cousin’s political ambitions.
