The All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate in Enugu State, Uche Nnaji, has promised to tackle insecurity and unemployment in the state if elected. Nnaji, who made this promise while unveiling his manifesto titled, Enugu Shall Rise Again, said his administration will tackle current insecurity and prioritise job creation for the teeming unemployed youths. According to him, he will set up small scale industrial clusters in each of the seventeen local government areas of the State. He noted that the manifesto is the outcome of his visit to the 260 political wards to ensure that the manifesto captures the needs and yearnings of the people.

The APC guber hopeful described the manifesto as not just a campaign document, but a blueprint to move Enugu state forward in a right direction. Nnaji then expressed confidence that he will win the governorship election, as the party currently enjoys massive support at the grassroots. Also speaking on the manifesto, the State APC Chairman, Ugochukwu Agballah, said its fundamental driver is to use agriculture to pilot industrial clusters in the 17 local government areas of the state. Agballah said the party will also transform the educational sector to advance the productivity that the innovative agricultural revolution will bring about.
