Lagos Fashion Week 2025 Returns This October to Celebrate 15 Years of African Style

The countdown is on as Lagos Fashion Week 2025 officially returns from October 29 to November 2, 2025, marking its 15th anniversary as one of Africa’s leading fashion platforms.
Organized by Style House Files and founded by Omoyemi Akerele, Lagos Fashion Week has become a cornerstone of the continent’s fashion calendar, celebrating innovation, sustainability, and African creativity on the global stage.
This year’s edition will once again take place in Lagos, Nigeria, featuring onsite and offsite runway shows, exhibitions, and workshops that bring together designers, fashion entrepreneurs, and industry stakeholders.
A major highlight of the event is the Green Access Programme—Lagos Fashion Week’s sustainability accelerator that supports emerging designers working with eco-conscious and circular design practices. The 2025 cohort has been undergoing virtual sessions and a residency at NAHOUS, where participants are developing capsule collections focused on reimagining textile waste and preserving traditional African craftsmanship.
Supported by sponsors such as Heineken, Afreximbank, the Bank of Industry, Meta, and Lush Hair, Lagos Fashion Week continues to strengthen its role as a driving force for sustainable fashion in Africa.
Press accreditation for the event is currently open until October 15, 2025, while anticipation continues to build across social media with the event’s official announcement urging fans to “mark their calendars” for what promises to be another unforgettable fashion celebration.
