‎ENUGU NORTH TRADITIONAL RULERS HAIL GOVERNOR PETER MBAH OVER OUTSTANDING DEVELOPMENTAL STRIDES.

‎The Enugu North Zonal Council of Traditional Rulers has unanimously endorsed
Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for his outstanding developmental strides, commitment
to equity and inclusive governance in Enugu State and has pledged total support for his
future political aspirations.
‎This came after a plenary session of the council, held at its headquarters, Obu Nsukka
in July, where royal fathers from the six local government areas of the zone, reviewed
the governor’s performance and federal recognitions accorded to the Nsukka cultural
zone.
‎Presenting it's communique during a media interaction on Monday in Nsukka, it's
chairman, his Royal majesty, Herbert Nwanosike Ukuta, JP said, the traditional rulers
applauded governor Mbah’s administration for what they described as unprecedented
infrastructure development, citing the massive road projects across rural and urban
areas, and the commissioning of five modern bus terminals in Enugu and Nsukka.
‎Ukuta added that, The council further celebrated the emergence of Professor Simeon
Otuanya as the first-ever indigenous Vice Chancellor of the University of Nigeria,
Nsukka, UNN, attributing it to Governor Mbah’s intervention and commitment to equity
and justice.
‎Beyond the state level, the royal fathers expressed deep gratitude to President Bola
Ahmed Tinubu for what they called the historic recognition and appointments of Nsukka
sons and daughters into key national positions within just two years of his
administration. The monarchs described this as an unprecedented moment in Nigeria’s
history where the Nsukka zone has enjoyed such national prominence and inclusivity.
‎In his submission, the sectary of the council, His Royal Majesty, Igwe Anikwe Uchenna,
said the coming together of the monarchy's showed their excitement to the two year rule
of the administration of governor Peter Mbah. He added that, while their support remain
unwavering to  the governor, the progress and recognition of Enugu North Should
remain a priority to the governor.
‎‎Our correspondent, Chibuike Peter who was at the briefing report that, traditional rulers
who where present at the gathering include those from the six local government areas
of the zone, comprising,  Igbo-Eze North, Igbo-Eze South, Nsukka, Uzo-Uwani, Igbo-
Etiti, and Udenu.
