NIGERIA FACES CAMEROON IN AFCON ROUND OF 16

Nigeria’s Super Eagles will face the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in the Round of 16 stage of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, currently ongoing in Ivory Coast. Cameroon secured the second spot in Group C by defeating Gambia 3-2, setting up a clash with the Super Eagles on Saturday, January 27, at the Felix Houphouet-Boigny. Despite a 1-0 classless victory against Guinea Bissau on Monday, Nigeria finished second in Group A with seven points same with Equatorial Guinea that took the first position on goal difference.
