Premier League side, Burnley have parted ways with English manager, Sean Dyche, after being at the helm of affairs of the club for almost 10 years. The club also confirmed the axing of assistant manager Ian Woan, first-team coach Steve Stone and goalkeeping coach Billy Mercer. Burnley chairman Alan Pace said in a club statement on Friday, thanked Sean and his staff for their achievements at the Club over the last decade. Pace said the results of the current season are disappointing, with eight crucial games of the campaign remaining.
According to him, there is need to give the squad the best possible chance of retaining its Premier League status. Dyche held the record of the longest-serving manager in the Premier League, overseeing one of the most successful periods in the Club’s history.
