African cup of nations third place match brought forward to February 5th,Saturday

Confederation of African football CAF says African cup of nations third place match has been brought forward to February 5th, Saturday, a day before the final. It would be recalled that the match was scheduled to take place on Sunday, same day with the finals.
However, CAF in a statement on Wednesday, after due consultations with the government of Cameroon and the local organizing committee cited security challenges in the movement from 3rd place final match to the venue of the final which is about 12 kilometers. Hence the need to move the…third and fourth place (play-off) originally scheduled for Sunday to Saturday. Both matches will be played in Yaounde, with the Olembe Stadium hosting the final and the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium the venue for the third-place game.
