Big Brother Naija alumna Tacha has made history by completing 145 makeovers in just 24 hours, setting a new Guinness World Record. The reality TV star and entrepreneur achieved this feat at the John Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture & History in Lagos, surpassing the previous record of 113 makeovers.
Tacha’s record breaking attempt was part of the Tacha Beauty Festival, a three day celebration of beauty, culture, and creativity. Despite a brief power outage, Tacha persevered, transforming models of diverse skin tones and body types. Celebrities like Alex Unusual, Toke Makinwa, and Hilda Baci attended the event, cheering her on.
Tacha’s Guinness World Record attempt has once again placed her name at the center of national conversation, this time, in the world of beauty and creativity, said fans and fellow celebrities. Mercy Eke, former Big Brother Naija winner, celebrated Tacha’s milestone on social media, writing, “I can’t wait for the big announcement, my baby, you deserve it! @Symply_Tacha. I owe you one.”
Tacha’s achievement showcases Nigerian talent and creativity on the global stage. Guinness World Records will review her documentation before official confirmation.
