In order to curb insecurity in Enugu state, the people’s Democratic Party PDP gubernatorial candidate Peter Ndubuisu Mba has assured of creating jobs for four hundred thousand work force if elected.
Peter Mba made this known on Tuesday during town-hall meetings in Mbanabo North and Mbanabo South Development Centres both in Awgu Local government Area of the state.
Mba reiterated his determination to engage youths of the state in meaningful ventures in a bid to ensure they become productive assets.
On agriculture, which he noted would play a major role in providing jobs creation, Mbah restated his resolve to migrate agriculture from manual and pipeline to mechanized adding that he will create platform agriculture.
He further stated that Enugu State under his leadership if elected will create special agro-allied processing zones, while assuring of one hundred thousand hectares of land to be used in farming to ensure the economy of the state gets a boost.
Earlier in a remark, the Deputy Minority Leader, House of Representatives, Toby Okechukwu, commended Peter Mbah for initiating the town hall meetings which he said is indeed a welcome development.
Also speaking, the former PDP national youth leader, Sunday Ude Okoye outlined some of the challenges facing the people to include, insecurity, lack healthcare centered, water, unemployment among others.
He also called on Peter Mba to replicate the gesture in his pinnacle oil in the state.
High point of the day was a minute silence observed for the former commissioner for works Gab Onuzuluike and his brother who were murdered by unknown gunmen.
