President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has asked the National Assembly to approve a plan for Nigeria to borrow $2.8 billion.
This money will help the government pay for important projects and cover the country’s budget needs. Part of the money will come from a new international bond called a sukuk.

Oil Production Is Going Up

Nigeria’s oil production is now about 1.8 million barrels each day.
