National Assembly has shifted its resumption date of plenary
activities to Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
A statement signed by the Clerk to the National Assembly, Kamoru
Ogunlana, on Tuesday in Abuja, said the new date was announced by
the presiding officers of both chambers of the federal legislature.
Ogunlana explained that while plenary sessions have been
rescheduled, standing and ad-hoc committees will continue their
legislative engagements within the period.
The National Assembly had earlier adjourned for its annual recess on
July 23, with lawmakers expected to reconvene on September 23 for
the last quarter of legislative business in the year.
