In a bid to ensure that inflation is curbed in the country, Presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 elections, Peter Obi, has stressed the need for Nigeria to end petrol subsidy. Obi made this known in some series of tweets on Thursday. He said Nigeria is vastly polarized and wrecked by divisions that run deep along religious, ethnic and regional lines. According to Obi said he has the structure to win the 2023 election and stressed that Nigeria’s democracy must survive. He further reiterated that there is a staggering level of corruption while noting that universities have remained closed for over five months. Obi however, added that the new alliance is between Nigerian Youths, the Labour Party, which represent Nigerian workers, and Like Minds.
