Kwara United have stepped up preparations for the second leg of their
CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round tie against Asante Kotoko of
Ghana.
The encounter will hold at the MKO Abiola Sports Arena, Abeokuta on
Sunday.
The Harmony Boys lost the first leg 4-3 last Sunday at the Accra Sports
Stadium.
Kwara United need just a 1-0 win to progress into the second round.
The players had another intensive training session today ahead of the
crucial encounter.
Also, the players, and their officials are expected to travel to Abeokuta
for the game on Friday.
Nigeria’s other representative in the competition, Abia Warriors will
face Djoliba of Mali in Bamako also on Sunday.
The Imama Amapakabo’s side were held to 1-1 draw by the Malians in
the first leg in Uyo.
