Ahead of the 2023 general election, the Enugu State governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi says he is optimistic of outright victory for the people’s Democratic Party, PDP in the state. Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi made this known in Enugu on Tuesday during the inauguration of one thousand seven hundred and fifty-nine members of the state PDP campaign council. Ugwuanyi who urged the campaign council as well as members of the party to live up to expectation in the discharge of their duties asserted that the credentials of the party’s gubernatorial candidate, Peter Mba among other electorates is indeed worthy of emulation.
The governor further hinted that the PDP government has performed creditably well since the past twenty years and called on the masses to continue to support the party in a bid to ensure more dividends of democracy in the state.
In a vote of thanks at the event, the state’s PDP campaign director general, Ikeje Asogwa commended the party for the opportunity given to him to serve and to lead the campaign.
The event however had in attendance dignitaries from far and wide the state.
