Fulham have officially announced the signing of Nigerian winger Samuel
Chukwueze on loan from AC Milan, with an option to buy at the end of the season.
The London club have long admired Chukwueze, and although talks only gathered
pace in the final days of the transfer window, both sides were able to strike an
agreement before the deadline.
The 25-year-old traveled to London on Sunday to undergo his medical, even before
a final deal had been reached. Now, the move has been confirmed, with Fulham
including a 30 million euros purchase clause in the agreement, according to reports.
Chukwueze joined Milan in the summer of 2023 but struggled to make a major
impact in Serie A, especially following the rise of Christian Pulisic in the same
period. Fulham see him as a key addition to their attacking options for the 2025/26
campaign.
For Milan, it represents a sensible piece of business, while for Chukwueze, it offers
a fresh opportunity to rediscover his best form in the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Greek giants, Panathinaikos have confirmed the signing of another
Super Eagles striker, Cyriel Dessers from Scottish Premiership side Rangers on a
permanent deal.
The 30-year-old forward joins the 20-time Greek champions for an undisclosed fee
and will wear the No. 33 jersey.
Dessers leaves Rangers after a highly productive spell, where he scored 52 goals in
over 100 appearances, won the League Cup, finished as SPFL Premiership top
scorer, and also received the prestigious Sam English Bowl award.
