In a bid to ensure Enugu State attains greater height in terms of development, the people’s Democratic Party, PDP gubernatorial candidate Peter Ndubuisi Mba, has pledged his determination to ensure all inherited projects from the present administration are completed if elected governor. Peter Mba made this known on Tuesday during his town hall meetings held at Nsukka East and Nsukka South Development centers, Enugu State.
Speaking at the event, Peter Mba, who noted that the aim of the visit was to ascertain and pin point the challenges facing the people assured of making the state the food basket of the country and ensure all made in Enugu products. Peter Mba however, reiterated plans to upgrade and enhance the productivity of agricultural produce through addressing properly the issue of feeder roads and access roads. He further noted of plans to map out parcels of land for commercial farming in a bid to boost agriculture.
On Water Scarcity, as was listed as one of the major challenges facing the people of the area, Peter Mba assured of building boreholes and pipe borne water in every community in the state. The PDP gubernatorial candidate also vowed to fulfill all of his campaign promises.
Earlier in a welcome address, the Chairman Nsukka Local government area, Walter Ozioko assured of their unalloyed support and pledged 100 percent votes for the party come 2023.
Further contributing, in their separate remarks, the member representing Nsukka East constituency in the state house of assembly, Chinedu Nwamba and the former Director General for Ike Ekweremadu campaign Ogbo Asogwa among others while pledging their support to the party called on the gubernatorial candidate to not forget them in areas of infrastructure and social amenities.
So far with the visit on Tuesday, eight out of sixty-eight development centers in the seventeen local government areas of the state have been visited by the people’s Democratic Party, PDP gubernatorial candidate campaign train.
