Another Building Collapsed in Lagos

Report reaching us says several persons have been feared dead and five others
rescued when a building under construction collapsed in the Badagry area of
Lagos State on Wednesday.

According to the report, the victims which are mainly construction workers were
rescued with varying degrees of injury

Confirming the incident, the Director of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service,
Margaret Adeseye, said four adults male have been recovered although
unconscious.

As at the time of filing this report, the agency said efforts were ongoing to rescue
more people trapped in the building.

Wednesday’s incident is coming two weeks after a 21-storey structure collapsed
in the Ikoyi area of the state.
